Hey Sis!: Azie Taylor Morton & Barbara Jordan
This series highlights the friendship that both Azie Taylor Morton and Barbara Jordan shared with each other. These Black Texan women excelled to national acclaim in the political realm being the first Black person to hold their respected positions. Additionally, Azie and Barbara had very strong relationships to the city of Austin and its many institutions.
Forever Free: Austin Area Freedom Colonies
This series highlights the different Freedom Colonies that emerged in the Austin area following the U.S. Civil War. Forever Free strives to invoke the will and determination of the newly emerging African-Americans to fully participate in the U.S. on their own terms.
